Grandmaster Chen Zheng Lei (Of Chen Village, Henan China)
19th Generation of the Chen Family, 11th Generation Inheritor of Chen Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan), one of Top Ten Martial Masters of China

Lao Jia Yi Lu (Old Frame Form) is the foundation form of Chen Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan), the origin of all Tai Chi. The principles taught in Lao Jia lead to the development of the spiral rotation force called "Chan Su Jin" (Silk-Reeling Energy). "Chan Su Jin" is the basis for acquiring "Fa Jin", explosive power.

The workshop will be devoted to instruction in "Lao Jia", Old Frame First Routine, for new students, and review and make further refinement for the advanced students, who already learned the form before. Grandmaster Chen will review in depth the important elements of the routine, especially the Silk-Reeling Energy. All the wondrous power of Taijiquan flows from the inculcation of yin (or soft), and yang (or hard), which is derived from the training and understanding of the First Routine.
